Bought and Sold Small Businesses Hits All-Time High

According BizBuySell.com’s Q4 2016 Insight Report, small business transactions reached record highs in 2016, exceeding 2015’s annual totals by 8.6 percent and 2014’s previous high by 4.6 percent. Last year 7,842 small businesses were sold, the highest reported yearly sales total since BizBuySell started tracking transactions in 2007. Read more…

A new survey found that nearly 60% of small business owners said they are going to invest more in marketing on social networks for 2017. Almost 70% said they are going to increase digital marketing investments this year, primarily for social and mobile. Read more…

Yelp Report Finds Millennials Expect Revenue Growth in 2017

Yelp’s second Small Business Pulse survey reveals millennials expect 69% more revenue growth than their older counterparts for 2017. Minority-owned businesses are also feeling positive about their growth, expecting 49% more in revenue for 2017. Read more…

WEX Inc. announced they are partnering with OnDeck to provide business financing from OnDeck to its small business customers. With this agreement, WEX customers will gain access to On Deck’s product suite of loans up to $500k and lines of credit up to $100k. Read more…
